Tone Deaf

Activity: Help your child learn different ways to convey emotions online when they can’t rely on tone.

Print ads are a great example of how emotions can be conveyed through images, colors, fonts, emojis, and words. Use the world around you as a teaching tool!  Look for an advertisement wherever you and your child find yourselves and see if you can identify the emotion(s) being conveyed.
